A finely carved Chinese Scholar’s brush rest in Aloes wood (Chenxiangmu) depicting a dozzing boy Tongzi reclining on an oval leaf. The boy is in a comfy gesture that resting his head on one hand on top of the pillow and holding a fan covering his legs with the other hand. His face has a calm expression and gentle smile.
