It is now two years since Miss Laurence Paul set up a website to promote Chinese wood stands, which for centuries have been imperative to the display of Chinese works of art, especially porcelain. The site is now internationally acclaimed, not only with collectors of Chinese porcelain, but also with people who have an interest in the rare and exotic species of wood used in their manufacture.

Laurence is now introducing an "unusual object" section to the site with the aim of sharing information with interested parties. It is hoped that visitors to the site will contact her with any further suggestions or ideas that they have.

The website shows a small selection from Laurence Paul's stock of Antique Chinese wood stands and covers, if you would like to send us an e.mail, we will be happy to send you details of items that are suitable for your object. With a large number of early stands in stock, we are usually able to satisfy our customers, in the unlikely event of being unable to do so, we offer a custom made service using our craftsmen in China.

Delivery is usually by FedEx at the client's expense which includes insurance. A small charge is made for packing. Payment can be made either by bank transfer, or credit card.
