An unusual Kangxi period (1662-1722) turquoise ruyi-shaped Stand. This piece is a very rare Chinese Stand made of porcelain instead of wood, from one of the finest era of porcelain making. The grooved sides supported on three cabriole legs issuing from ferocious animal masks, and the ruyi shape gives auspicious meaning.(Two minor restorations)
