A pair of Chinese Canton gu-shaped porcelain vases, 19th century, with French ormolu mounted on the bases and liners.The body of each vase is painted with scenes of courtly life interspersed amongst profuse foliage, birds, and butterflies.

十九世纪中国广东外销觚形花瓶，配有法国鎏金铜底座和内衬，底座为镶嵌上去的。花瓶具有明显的外销瓷特征，瓶身上所绘图案为宫廷生活场景，周围有茂密的花叶、鸟类和蝴蝶作为点缀。
